5th HTx General Assembly – 22nd – 23rd May 2023 – Madrid, Spain

The fifth HTx General Assembly took place between the 22nd and 23rd  of May 2023 in Madrid, Spain. The two-day hybrid meeting of consortium members included updates on all work packages and case studies as well as discussions on the generalisation and transferability of the research results.

The program started with a welcome speech by Wim Goettsch (University of Utrecht, The Netherlands), HTx’s project coordinator, giving a summary of the research conducted within the project over the past year. Following this, work package leaders had allocated timeslots to update all the attendants about the progress and challenges of their research. Participants also had the opportunity to discuss the ontology work conducted within the project and explore the methodological developments of the case studies.

The second day saw a series of detailed presentations of the various case studies, where representatives of case study researchers had the chance to present their progress to all HTx consortium members and receive direct feedback. Each showcase was followed by a discussion on the generalisability and transferability of the case study, followed by an overall discussion on the two topics and related research findings. The two-day session ended with a summary of the events by the project coordinator.

We would like to thank all our colleagues who participated and presented at the event, and our project manager Nathalie Bofarull and the teams at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and Synapse for organising and managing the event.
